Terms & Conditions
As Uniway strives to continuously find convenient ways for our members to access our many beneficial services, we do have to ask that each member help us maintain the confidence each manufacturer and distributor has placed in Uniway. Every member that is granted a password to our site must follow the policies and procedures set forth below in order for us to continue to pursue more innovative and expedient ways to serve you.
Access to Online Shopping
This area is for the EYES OF CURRENT MEMBERS ONLY and all information is STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. To activate your online membership, you must "create an account" by entering the required information and having a valid membership number in current status. Be sure to include your NAME, MEMBERSHIP NUMBER, and all other required information as indicated on the registration page. Please allow 24-48 hours for activation. Be sure to keep your User Name and Password in a secure location. A computer equipped with a web browser and access to the Internet to enter your login and password in the space provided on our site is required. Each member will have to check box agreeing to these terms and conditions before access is granted to the confidential information listed on the "members only" portion of our site.
Use of Your Password
When you sign onto our online shopping using your Login and password, you authorize us to follow the instructions we receive relating to your membership, pricing, and information request. Since your password is the principal security measure to protect access to your membership, you agree to not give your password or make it available to any unauthorized person. If you do give your password or make it available to any person not covered under paragraph 7 in your membership agreement you forfeit all rights to access Uniway's Online Showroom. Uniway reserves the right to cancel any and all membership privileges immediately in the event any of the policies and procedures listed under the online terms and conditions and/or Membership Agreement are deemed to have been used out of compliance. It is your responsibility to remember your password; we do not maintain a record of it. If you forget your password, you will need to contact us at Uniwayfront@hotmail.com, or contact your local branch during normal business hours: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00AM to 7:00PM, and Saturday 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
If You Believe Your Password is Lost, Stolen or Used without Your Authority
Please tell us AT ONCE if you believe your password has been lost, stolen, or used without your authority. Contact us at Uniwayfront@hotmail.com or write to Uniway's Online Showroom, P.O. Box 4479 West Columbia, SC 29171. If you believe your password has been lost or stolen, and you tell us within two business days after you learn of the loss or theft, all of your membership privileges will be protected and a new password will be issued. If you DO NOT notify us within two business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your password, and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your password without your permission if you had told us, you could lose your right to be provided with a new password and all other membership privileges will be put under review to determine if your membership should be canceled.
Reliance on Your Instructions
We will rely and act on instructions we receive through online shopping. You are responsible and liable to the extent allowed by law and as provided in this agreement. All such instructions will be considered as having been given to us directly by you and shall have the same authority as your written signature in authorizing us to comply with the instructions.
Services Available Through Uniway's Online Showroom
Current Members may use Uniway's Online Showroom to conduct the following:
- Obtain information about vendors, products, and services available through Uniway;
- Submit request for pricing and availability on product and services available through Uniway;
- Purchase merchandise available in Uniway's online gift shop; (when available)
- Check statuses on orders placed via Uniway's online gift shop or submit a request to check status on orders placed at your local Uniway;
- Learn more about special events being held at your local Uniway location;
- Submit names of anyone you would like to introduce to all the privileges of a Uniway Membership;
- Obtain information to contact vendors. The suppliers listed are not prepared to handle questions about orders directly from Members. If you have questions or concerns about any product or service please contact us at Uniwaycopurch@hotmail.com or your local Uniway.
- Use confidential prices to negotiate with any stores. Members should never shop a store knowing you are going to buy through Uniway or use retail personnel, or their services. Uniway ask that all of our members respect the retail community.
- Purchase items on behalf of others, or for resale. Gifts may be purchased as outlined in paragraph 8 of your Membership Agreement.
Payment Service
Pay Pal or PaySimple provides the payment service feature for Uniway's Online Showroom. UNIWAY IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE PAY PAL or PAYSIMPLE SERVICE. UNIWAY DOES NOT ENDORSE THE USE OF OR MAKE ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION REGARDING THE PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDED BY PAY PAL or PAYSIMPLE. We are only responsible for exercising ordinary care in processing payment request made through the Pay Pal or PaySimple service upon your authorization. We WILL NOT be liable in any way for damages you incur if you do not have sufficient funds in the account information provided to make the payment on the processing date, for delays in delivery, for changes to any address or account information, any error in calculation of the amount to be deducted from the account information provided, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Errors and Questions
We are not responsible for any typographical or pricing errors listed on Uniway's online Showroom. Pricing and product availability is subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to effuse processing of any purchasing request. Incas of questions or concerns about products, price or availability please contact our Customer Service Department.
When You Notify Us
- Tell us your Name, Membership Number and Location Where you Joined
- Describe any product in question using the Manufactures Name and Manufactures Model number

- Give brief description of the product and/or any preferences you have concerning any options available for that product through the manufacturer.
- Give Date of transaction, Order# and any other specific information pertaining to your order or incident
- Give specific contact information (i.e. Your Name, Membership Number, Working Phone Number, E-mail, address and Best Time to Contact You)
Electronic Mail
If you send us an electronic mail message (e-mail), we will be deemed to have received it on the following business day. We will have a reasonable time to act on your e-mail. Do not rely on e-mail if you need to communicate with us immediately, for example to cancel a pre-authorized payment. Any e-mail messages sent to Uniway are property of Uniway and we reserve the right to copy, forward, print or delete such messages. You agree that we may send notices and information about our products and services to you electronically, to the extent allowed by law.
Termination or Discontinuation
You may terminate or discontinue your online services by giving us at least TEN (10) days prior written notice. You may contact us at Uniway's Online Showroom, P.O. Box 4479, West Columbia, SC 29171. You must tell us your name, address, membership number and the effective date to discontinue your online access. We can refuse online access to anyone. We may terminate your online access at any time without prior notice and with or without cause. If more than one person can access our online showroom, we reserve the absolute right to terminate all online access of the account owner, any co-owner, or any other person authorized to access the showroom.
Change of Address
You agree to notify us promptly of any address change. You can contact us at uniwayfront@hotmail.com, please include your name, membership number, old address, new address and location where you joined.
Joint and Several Liability
If any Member has or adds a co-owner, each co-owner will be jointly and severally liable for any obligation which arises from the use of Uniway's online showroom. This joint and several liabilities shall extend as well to any immediate family. "Immediate Family" shall be construed to mean the Member's spouse, all unmarried children under age 18 and all unmarried children under age 22 if enrolled in college. Uniway prohibits the use of our online showroom by any person not in current status as a Uniway member or Uniway member's immediate family.
Disclaimer of Warranty
Uniway will not be liable for damages resulting from any item purchased by a member and Uniway hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose concerning any purchase by a member. Uniway shall have no responsibility, in whole or part, as it may relate to the performance of any third party service, agency that member may choose to utilize on referral from Uniway. This includes, but is not limited to, products purchased and/or contracted services. We may on a regular basis perform maintenance on our equipment or system, which may result in the interruption of service or errors in the service. We also may need to change the scope of our services from time to time and will attempt to provide prior notice of such interruptions and changes but cannot guarantee that such will be provided. We make no representation that online services will be uninterrupted or errors will not occur. Our sole obligation to you arising out of (1) the non-availability of online shopping, or (2) a interruption in providing online shopping shall be to use commercially reasonable efforts to resume such services. In no event shall Uniway or our respective, officers, directors, employees, agents or subcontractors be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (even if we are advised of the possibility the possibility thereof) arising in any way out of the installation, use or maintenance of any computer equipment/programming/software for the online service.
Virus Protection
You agree that we are not responsible for any electronic virus that you may encounter using Uniway's online service. We encourage you to routinely scan your PC and diskettes/CD's/DVD's using up to date, reliable virus protection products to detect and remove any viruses found. Undetected virus may corrupt and destroy your programs, files and even your hardware.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend this agreement at anytime. We will provide you with any notice required of any changes to the terms of this agreement. Your use of online services after we post notice of changes will constitute your agreement of such changes.
Assignment
You MAY NOT assign this agreement to any other person or entity. We may assign this agreement to any company with which we are directly or indirectly affiliated. We may also assign or delegate certain responsibilities under this agreement to independent contractors of other third parties.
No Waiver
We will not be deemed to have waived any of our rights or remedies under this agreement unless we sign a waiver to you by e-mail or we otherwise mail or deliver to you a written waiver signed by delay or omission on our part in exercising any of our rights or remedies shall operate as a waiver of such rights or remedies or any other rights or remedies we may have. A waiver on one occasion will not be construed as a bar or waiver of any rights or remedies on future occasions.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions, and applicable federal law.
